Started in 2015 by a few dedicated chefs with a passion for good food, Bondi Grill’e is the epitome of relaxed, delicious, high quality eating. With these qualities always at the forefront, it is now a rapidly expanding restaurant brand focused on building a network of highly visible, high traffic sites.

Bondi Grill’e is a young, dynamic and fast-growing franchise business and there are a number of great opportunities available to suit you. You do not need experience in the food industry to join the Bondi Grill’e team, just an obvious passion for creating great food. As a new franchisee, you will be fully trained by experienced Bondi Grill’e staff and your restaurant will be fully fitted out by our inhouse property team.

STEPS
1. START YOUR APPLICATION
Take a minute to read our Franchise Information Pack and once you’re done, complete the Bondi Grill’e Information Request.
2. NICE TO MEET YOU!
We can’t wait to get to know you, and we’re sure you feel the same! The introductory meeting will be one-on-one and give us a chance to review your completed Information Request and answer any of your questions.
3. GIVE IT A GO – IN STORE TRIAL
The in-store trial is a great opportunity for you to gain some first-hand experience and get a feel for Bondi Grill’e’s day to day operations. The trial will take place over two days and will be at a time and location specified by the management team.
4. YOU LOVED IT – NOW WHAT?
Once your trial is done, Bondi Grill’e management will issue draft franchise documentation and historical financial information. Management training will also be scheduled.
5. ALMOST THERE! MANAGEMENT TRAINING & SITE SELECTION
Now you’re ready to begin Bondi Grille’s comprehensive Management Training Program and we will work closely with you to finalise site selection.
6. SIGN YOUR LIFE AWAY!
You made it! At this point franchise documentation is signed, the franchise fee is paid and you’re ready to begin the journey of a lifetime.
STARTING PACKAGE
YOUR FIRST DAY
Before the opening of your very own Bondi Grill’e restaurant, all franchise partners are to complete our tailored Management Training Program and must be prepared to work in an existing Bondi Grill’e restaurant for a period of at least 8 weeks without pay.
THE TRAINING CONTINUES
Let’s grow together! Franchise partners, managers and staff will be able to continuously improve their knowledge and skills with a variety of professionally developed systems and procedures.
WORKING TOGETHER - GROUP MARKETING
The marketing contributions received from all franchise partners go towards brand building and increasing brand awareness. This covers all areas of marketing and public relations, allowing us to further grow and innovate with you.
YOUR STORE, YOUR COMMUNITY
Getting involved in community events and activities is always heavily encouraged at Bondi Grill’e and we also provide helpful marketing guidelines and consultancy to help reach the local community near your store. Before execution, all marketing activities and initiatives specific to your restaurant are approved by Bondi Grill’e management.

The experienced and dedicated Bondi Grill’e management team will pay regular visits to your restaurant to assist you in maintaining the highest standards of quality and service and make sure that you are across all procedures and operational duties.

GETTING STARTED – SETUP COST
Establishing yourself in the Bondi Grill’e Franchise system requires an initial capital investment of approximately $200,000 – $350,000 (plus GST + rental bond + working capital) Setup costs will vary depending on site location, existing infrastructure, fit-out requirement of the landlord, size of the tenancy and incentives from landlords. The Bondi Grill’e team will work hard to negotiate the best and lowest costs possible for you.
THE FRANCHISE FEE
In addition to the setup costs, a franchise fee of $20,000 (plus GST) to establish Bondi Grill’e.
ONGOING ROYALTY
6% of weekly gross sales is payable to Bondi Grill’e on an ongoing basis.
ONGOING MARKETING CONTRIBUTION
2% of weekly gross sales is payable to a group marketing fund for group advertising on an ongoing basis.

No – this you can leave up to us. Bondi Grill’e carries out their own research on potential sites and consults trusted property consultants prior to entering lease negotiations. This ensures that franchisees can open in the best location possible. Remember, any location suggestions you may have are always welcome and appreciated!
The profitability of a Bondi Grill’e restaurant depends on a vast range of internal and external factors including your input, your staff and service standards, operational standards, economic conditions, and local area factors. Considering this, it is impossible to provide franchisees with any measure of sales or profit estimates and we do not offer such forecasts. Throughout your application process, Bondi Grill’e will provide you with an abundance of information that will allow you to prepare a suitable business plan and we encourage our franchisees to seek independent legal and financial advice.

Your passion and drive is irreplaceable and we therefore require that any Bondi Grill’e franchisee dedicate their full time and attention to the business.

Prior to opening your Bondi Grill’e location, you will receive comprehensive training so that you can learn, and are completely comfortable with, the Bondi Grill’e systems and procedures.
